Client stories

Measured, session by session

For every client who agrees, I track a few simple measures at each visit: pain, stress, sleep, energy, or a standard migraine scale. Here are two full case studies, shared with permission, and what clients have said in their own words.

Ankita: from severe migraine disability to mild

A demanding job, a move to a new city, then a sudden change to a toxic work environment. By the time Ankita took forty days of leave, her sleep, energy and mood had collapsed and migraines were taking two or three days of her life at a time.

IV → IIMIDAS grade: severe to mild disability
2–3 → 1–1.5days each migraine episode lasted
4–5 → fewerpainkillers per episode; some attacks passed with none

The numbers

MIDAS asks how many days in the past weeks migraine stopped you working, doing housework or seeing people. The higher the score, the more of life it takes.

Ankita's migraine disability (MIDAS) score, November 2024 to January 2025 Score began at 21 (grade IV, severe), rose to 43 during a stressful December at work, then fell to 14 in early January and to 5.5 and 8 (grade II, mild) by mid January. How the sessions unfolded

  1. Session 1 · 17 Nov

She arrived sleep-deprived, foggy, with tired eyes and poor memory. By the cranial hold she was almost asleep.

  2. Session 2 · 24 Nov

She came in pain and too fed up to fill in the form. She slept during the session and left surprised by how much she had needed that rest.

  3. Session 3 · 15 Dec

Work stress was driving more frequent attacks. A visible bulge in her lower back eased during the session, which surprised us both. She decided to restart her kriya and meditation.

  4. Sessions 4–5 · late Dec

With her practice back in place, her mind was quieter on the table. I used the vagus nerve protocol; she rested deeply and left smiling.

  5. Sessions 6–8 · January

She began spotting her own triggers (screen time, sun, pressure at work) and recovering faster. By the last session she described feeling "light" and balanced.

What did not go away. Work stress, long screen hours and strong sun still trigger episodes. What changed is how often, how long and how badly, and how much she needs medicine to cope. Craniosacral therapy was one part of her recovery, alongside Ayurvedic treatment and her own daily practice.

Swarna: pain gone, and short sleeves again

Swarna trains and competes in air pistol shooting. Long hours of practice had left her with back and shoulder pain, and her psoriasis itched so badly that she wore full sleeves in public. During our months together she also lost her father.

The skin

At the start Swarna was hesitant to be touched where her patches were. Over the following months the itching eased, and she began a cleaner diet with vegetable juices. In January she arrived in short sleeves for the first time, glowing. Her own before-and-after chart of where she itched:

Grief

Craniosacral work makes room for emotion. Swarna cried in her second session and felt her back ease. After her father passed I used the vagus nerve protocol with foot holds; she slept peacefully, and her face, as I noted that day, was shining.

I felt really good with the CST sessions. After every session I felt more energetic and refreshed. I used to look forward to these sessions as I used to get deep rest and relaxation. My sleep has improved. I used to get some pain in my back and legs which has disappeared now. I feel more active and energetic.

Hello, my name is Sheetal and I'm an Art of Living teacher. I just came out of a CST session with Rituji. I am in Bangalore and the session was fabulous. I was stressed before the session, and after I took CST, that is craniosacral therapy, from Rituji, I'm feeling relaxed and it's a wonderful, wonderful experience. If you are in Bangalore, do not miss the opportunity. Get in touch with Rituji. Bye-bye.

Initially, I was quite emotional and didn't wish to speak much during the early CST sessions, even crying, but I experienced tremendous relief and awakening. Due to extensive shooting practice, I had developed significant back pain, but after these sessions, that pain is completely gone. I feel deeply relaxed, calm, and peaceful. The treatments left my body feeling light and free, with no pains when waking up.

The last CST session was amazing for me. I could feel the energy circulating within my body, especially on the soles of my feet. My lower back felt so light and relaxed after the sacral healing. My knee pain has improved a lot. Overall I felt my body become lighter and stress free. I slept soundly that night. Thank you so much.

Priya knee and lower back pain

Us time bohat sleepy tired feel kar rahe the, aur bohat saare thoughts bhi the. Par during the session kaafi relax feel hone laga, aur kuch time ke baad deep sleep mein the, jo bohat zyada required tha us time. After the session I was feeling ki kaafi hours so rahe the. Was feeling so fresh and light. Thank you so much di, such a divine caring and love.

In EnglishI was very sleepy and tired that day, with a lot of thoughts. During the session I relaxed a great deal, and after a while fell into the deep sleep I badly needed. Afterwards it felt as if I had slept for hours. I felt so fresh and light.

Heena fatigue and stress

Each CST session brought a different, deeper experience. With every touch, I was able to go deeper into relaxation. I felt my muscles and lower back relaxing, and after a few minutes, I would drift into such deep rest that I had no awareness of what happened afterward. Upon waking, I felt deeply refreshed. The sessions eliminated my bloating sensation for days afterward, and remarkably, my eyesight seems to have improved. I no longer experience blurred vision during shooting practice.
